OpenCV will be used to draw the rectangle on the face as well as eyes. OpenCv as well as haar cascade eye and face xml files will be used to locate the coordinates of both face as well as eyes. There will be some discussion on how viola jones trained the algorithm. Limitation of the algorithm will be also discussed and other options will be also presented to overcome former limitations. In short, light will be thrown on deep learning object detection models. I hope readers will gain some useful knowledge while reading this blog and their concepts on computer vision will get a supporting end. This algorithm was developed by two people named Paul Viola and Michael Jones. Developed in 2001. Even though it was discovered 19 years ago and deep learning made huge progress in object detection, still it holds a special place in detecting faces, eyes and other haar features. If one has to start learning about detecting objects, I recommend them to learn viola jones first before diving deep into deep learning powerful object detection models. This algorithm is composed of two parts training as well as detection.

There are several factors you should consider when choosing a foreign language as a homeschooled student: learning options, difficulty level, personal preference, and future goals in life. We will look at each of these factors and then examine some of the most commonly studied foreign languages. Learning options. While media based programs offer expanded learning opportunities, you still need to consider your own learning style. Do you feel that you would learn better in a class where you would have the chance to create dialogue with live human beings? Are there classes available to you? Many communities have local tutors that cater to the needs of homeschooled students. If you study on your own, do you have foreign language speakers among your family or friends with whom you could practice your growing skills? What curriculum options are available to you for the language you wish to study? These factors may not totally determine the language you learn, but they are factors to consider. Difficulty level. Some people seem to have a natural ear for languages. Some have more trouble with the sounds but are great at adapting to the new grammar and vocabulary. Others have difficulty with both areas. If English is your first language, certain languages will be easier to learn because they correlate more closely with our own grammar, characters, or vocabulary.

I have recently purchased this product and this is fantastic. To my knowledge, this is the only tool of its kind. This is making my life so much easier, I can now prepare a yoga lesson plan in minutes. This is the end of procrastination. Thank you. George Watts is a Yogi with a vision!I am having such fun going through all the resources in the lesson planning kit!Already have decided to do a 10 week plan and issue it to the kids next term. Had already decided to do something on the koshas so itll be fun getting it ready. and wont take anything like the time!I all the different bits. I the tips, the meditation bits and all the posture bits. Well, all of it. It pulls together so many ideas that float around in my brain, my computer, my office, my classroom and elsewhere! You will laugh: because I am so sad and need to read things on paper to really sort of get them, I printed it all off to sit on the sofa and read and get familiar with.

If were going to debate the inherent goodness of humanity lets start there. Theres more than enough material to keep the discussion going beyond the endurance of any mortal. Also, I take exception to you making assumptions about my character based on my willingness to recognize human imperfectability. The choices I have made are between me, my conscience, and whatever greater powers may or may not govern the cosmos, but I make no apologies for acknowledging that I might not always have done justice to my best self. In this I dont think Im better or worse than the vast majority humanity. In fact in the old McKinsey, most of the people behaved in an upright manner. An entire team left a study in Tanzania in protest. I know a woman who went to the of the firm to call out the bad conduct of a partner on her study. He backed her over him. I worked on yet another study where we flat out told the client it should abandon an important strategic objective, something it did not want to hear. There were some scummy principals non tenured partners and their foibles were known and pretty much none of them made director the tenured class so the checks and balances on the whole seemed to work.

Michelle Kern/PWSAN FRANCISCO, Calif. The California Federation of Teachers recently labeled the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges ACCJC a rogue college accreditation commission. The teachers union and the Save CCSF City College of San Francisco coalition believe that the agency is following a corporate agenda in the fight over accreditation of the San Francisco college. Business oriented education reform is a familiar topic to those following trends in K 12 public education. Higher education has not been immune to similar trends, with corporate reformers laying out strategies which tend to embrace a more business type model for colleges. Free market think tanks like the American Legislative Exchange Council ALEC are working in parallel with funders such as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the Lumina Foundation, increasingly gaining ground in crafting education policy. Last year the ACCJC, the body that yanked the accreditation of CCSF this July, was one of the recipients of a $1 million Lumina Foundation grant. Lumina and other foundations use the lofty sounding goal of 60 percent degree attainment for students to slash programs and define classroom outcomes that it deems extraneous to that goal. This agenda is being touted as a job creation program via the logic that a higher number of degree holders will result in higher employment. While it is true that college degrees often correlate with higher employment levels, there is little evidence that a higher number of degree holders creates jobs. Legislative policies have nevertheless been pushed through in several states that would tie state funding to graduation rates.
